I have a 2002 axiom and would like to upgrade the shocks. Any one change to an aftermarket product? My Axiom has the comfort/sport adjustment option.

I am sick of the bottoming out on the rear.

I have an 03 Ax and I used an airbag kit from airlift. www.airliftcompany.com Part No: 60797

It has made all the difference in the world. At about 12 PSI the rear springs are perfect. I don't even bottom out when towing my 19 ft boat.

Wow I forgot about this place. The airlift install was fairly easy. You have to muscle the airbags a bit into the coil springs. I ran the air valve up to the fuel door drain hole.

I put the air springs from Airlift also. Jacked up the Axiom on one side to spread the springs a little and they just had to be pushed in a little. Big difference. No bottoming out now. Ran the lines below where the jack is stored. There is a 1 inch rubber grommet directly below the jack on the sidewall near the wheelwell on the underside of the Axiom. I removed the grommet and drilled 2 holes for the air lines. Ran the lines up to the jack.Replaced the grommet for a water tight seal. Now to change or add air I just remove the jack door and the air lines are lying there. I also had to replace my rear shocks because one leaked. I ordered them from the dealer. Cost $125 each shock. The passenger rear shock was harder to remove because of the cramped working area. the nuts were jammed on the top side. Took 5 working days to get the shocks from the dealer. Not a stock item for them.

"These air springs... are they for the front and rear? How much do they sell for?"
They are a little smaller that a 2 liter bottle of soda. But very thick plastic material. They fit inside of the rear springs only. That is why I had to jack up the rear to spread the springs apart to make it easier to insert the air bags inside of each spring. I purchase mine for $105.00. The air bags make for a stiffer ride, i.e. you do not hit the bottom hard with a loud bang in normal driving. The air bags do not lower it any lower than when it sits stock. Do a Google search for Air Lift 1000 p/n 60797 for the manual.

Hey bro, I found it here: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...utofilter=1&am p;am p;am p;part=AIR-60797&N=700+400054+4294907576+4294898910+4294 907048+115&autoview=sku

80 bucks!

I think Im gonna be getting these soon... How do these help with the whole too bouncy or too stiff ride? Does it even it all out for you?

Also, how does one add air to it? Do you have to own an air compressor? Could you just fill it with air from the gas station or something??

Does any one know if removing the electronic suspension and replacing with an aftermarket would cause any issues.
