Anybody else experiencing valve noise?


My '02 (92K miles) makes some noise tapping noise whenat operating temperature.


Didn't see any TSB's and am curious if other are experiencing the same and what happened with their experience.

I purchased my '02 Axiom with 92k last October and it has always had the valve noise, as does every other Isuzu I've heard on the road. Try listening closely when you see another Isuzu passing by, and you're going to hear the exact same sound, it must be an Isuzu thing, and it seems to me that it's related to the Oil Consumption Issue that all Isuzu's have.

I recently added a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil along with another quart of oil (make sure not to over fill) and I noticed a reduction in the Valve Tick! and the engine seems to run a lot smoother!
