Aftermarket Stereo?
#1
I''ve got an 04'' Axiom. Stereo is basically the brain of the interior of the truck...A/C, suspension, Compass, etc. Is there an aftermarket stereo out there that is compatable with the 04''? I''d like to put a little bump in the truck but don''t see how with so much going on with the factory head unit.

Nothing will work all the factory radio components (ac ect) but you can keep that radio in there, and add a head unit to it. I removed the rid control system and placed it in my glove box. Then removed the ashtry and molded a din (standard radio size) opening under it (lot of work).
I have seen a lot of people move the head to the center console (removing the cd changer). You must keep this unit inthe car to control the ac!!!
Now you can add a line output device to your factory headunit if you like. A JL audio makes a great one (Clean sweep), as does Audio Control (lc6). Or you can use a simple one but you loose a little sound quality and power output. I have the same truck and I work at Ultimate audio in orlando. www.ult-audio.com
