Had this Axiom since new. Pretty good rig, it''s a billy goat in the snow here in Alaska. Just turned 110k miles & started intermittent check engine light flashing on & off. Garage can''t get a reading on their computers. When it''s on (flashing), itonly comes on under power, that is, when I''m stepping on gas. At idle (in park or stop light), the light goes off, then comes back on when I step on gas. Weird & frustrating.

 

I also have an ''02 Axiom, and had this same issue at about 120,000 miles. The code on mine says it was the EGR valve. I replaced it and have had no issues since. HTH.

 

EGR valve, hmm, cheap enough...I''ll give it a try. Thanks.
