My hubby and I are putting an engine from a '92 Amigo into a '91 Amigo body. We are looking for some pictures of one that is put together ('92 engine that is) as there is an a/c tenstioner/pulley that we aren't sure where/how it mounts. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

From 89 to 94 the amigos are pretty much the same except for

engine size,2 or 4 wheel drive and auto or manual.

Stand in front of your amigo and look down at the ac compressor

just down and to the right there are two bolt holes in the

compressor bracket that bolts to theblock

this is where the ac tensioner bolts tothe bottom of the compressorbracket

loosen the pulley, put the belt on,then adjust the tension 1/8 inch

vertical play (approx) tighten the pulley nut and youre done.

Caution! do not overtighten! the belt!Edited by: AH ME GO

Thanks for the reply. I am happy to say that we figured things out and the Amigo is up and running. My niece has it now (that was the goal for it) and she is loving it!

Thanks!!
