Hey guys,
I have a 1999 Amigo which is all stock with the v6. I want to get a little better sound out of it but not obnoxious. I was thinking about getting the Thrush turbo muffler. Any idea how that would sound on it being it has single exhaust, or anyone have any other suggestions? I just want to get a nice mellow tone. Thanks.

 

mine is a 4cyl. The quietter the better form me.

 

Yeh, why would you want something louder on your Amigo. I have a corvette with stock exhaust, which is loud enough for me. The Amigo is not a street racer, so I agree with 427,the quieter the better. However, I did put a pair of Thrush turbos on my 1965 Mustang, back in the day, and the sound was very subtle and not loud where it was obnoxious.

 

I wanted the same... Get a 1/2" - 3/4" metal drill bit and drill a hole between the "Y" exhaust pipes going into the muffler and the muffler itself, and it sounds sweet! My exhaust is getting pretty rusty so I figured I''d try this first before spending fortunes, and it sounds real nice.[img]smileys/smiley16.gif[/img]
