3.2, Oil in the Intake
Ok, so the other night my amigo (3.2 4wd with 136,000) was having idling problems. I traced it back to bad intake gaskets. No big deal to fix. so I started tearing into the engine and to my surprise, my intake was coated with oil, not just a nice thin coat either. There were puddles on the bottom.
For the longest time I couldn’t figure out where its oil was going ( it was using roughly about 1 quart to about 350miles). So I think it may be my valve seals, but not for sure, so if any of you have other suggestions, Or attempted to put new seals in without removing the heads, lemme know!

was the oil in the intake runners of the head or intake if it was in the intake it self then couldnt be valve gides leaking most likly a blow by isue my 88 does that when the pvc sticks . i can pull the oil fill plug with it running and put my hand over the opaning and litarlly feel the pressure but mine is a 88 and it dont smoke just uses about a quart and a half every 2000 miles
