'91 Trooper II Autohub problem (drivers side). Transaxle has slipped the snap ring retainer. Transaxle is hitting something and cannot be pulled out enough to reengage the snap ring.

Transaxle not quite coming out far enough to engage snapring. To pull out the transaxle, you are supposed to insert a bolt into the threaded end of the transaxle and pull it out.

TRPR 4W HUB 17 - bolt inserted into threads on end of transaxle for pulling the transaxle out in order to set snap ring.
