Since 1986, I''ve owned 4 Troopers, each has been a particularly good Truck. I noticed on Edmunds this evening that the 1998 Trooper (the model I presently own) consumer rating is 8.6. That''s pretty good, Land Cruiser has 9.1, but we know Trooper is the better Vehicle. My Trooper, factory perfect with upgraded brakes (slotted & vented) seems to be worth about $3600, by Edmunds calculation. My concern is that we are going to have a tough time keeping the vehicles perfectly maintained.


Jan 2009, the only Isuzu will be the commercial delivery truck. Of course, since 2002, Isuzu has been being phased out.


Can anyone advise about the future availability of new parts and what is going to happen to resalability of the Trooper?
