Ok who has a clue and wants to help me feel less crazy. 95 trooper LS 3.2 DOHC AT is acting wrong-only gets reverse and 1st but you can manually go thru the gears. It has a history of doing this just as a zillion other troopers on here. Light comes on, you stop restart then are fine. Funny thing is now the light is out and it wont reset itself no matter what. I THINK HERE IS A CLUE that means its some sort of electrical part (PCM TCM solenoid or some such thing): The dash lights crashed at the same time and the fuse appear fine. If i go to somewhere with diagostic machines-they can just plug in and it will give some clue? I had a guy look at it but all he did was drive it and said-you only have first gear (i know that) then he said they dont work on transmissions except for filter changes and he thought that would be a waste although i am going to do it anyhow but myself. I am up against some sort of trans support beam before the pan arent I?
