I am in the market for a new to me car.
I was looking at cars and I have come to realize that people are getting top dollar for their beat to crap Accords.
Then I stumbled on the Trooper.
I have a couple that I am going to look at
2000 LS 4X4 130k miles for $3500
1998 4x4 128K miles for $3000
So my questions are
A) Is the trooper a reasonable around the town vehicle for my wife (who is pregnant)?
B) What should I look for when looking at troopers
C) What are some common issues
Oh, I do have a fantasy of taking it off road, since my buddy has a Land Rover that he takes off road, but I am strapped for cash right now and I can not afford to bang up my Truck.

hey whats up im guessing this forum is a little dead but ill get some help to you. The trooper is a great suv for town and especially pregnant women because theres alot of space my girlfriend owns one loves it to death. Make sure mileage is reasonable and when giving it a test drive make sure to keep an eye on the rpm gauge because with my gfs suv her torque conveter likes to disengage but then again it has 200K miles. Make sure timing belt has been changed if your getting any car that has over 80K. AND THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS SUV is the ticking noise it makes make sure it doesnt tick. But other then that its a great SUV mine has 200K still running stong and if you read other peoples post most of them have exceeded 200K and still going so it is a good investment in my opinion good luck though
