OK I have a chance to get a cheap trans out of an 88 that was backed to a 4 banger, now the issue is my 89 has a 2.8 V6, now my question is will the 88 trans bolt up to the V6 without any need of any major work.
I have taken into consideration that the spline count may be different & the bolt patterns may be different I just can't travel that far right @ this time to go & just look.
Any info will be greatly appreciated
