timing belt going....i think
sooo over the past maybe 2 weeks...my trooper's been starting hard like the timing is off, it has about 140k miles on it and hasn't been changed as far as i know, i've owned it since about 100k miles... after it starts up it runs just fine with absolutely no issues, no codes... so i'm thinking the belt is stretched and off a bit, computer corrects after it starts up?the only other dohc engine i've messed with was a nissan vq30... but it looks easy enough to change ,if not or something else i can check would be great... and is there anything i should know about taking the timing cover off ie- a bolt under the oil pan into the cover or any crazy dumb things like that
thanks-
