hi i got a 1995 trooper with 5 spd and 3.2 sohc the starter has gone out and a guy told me that a chevy starter will work but he doesnt know what the part number is for it is this true and does any one know what that part number of what it fits is its got to be cheaper than the one thats for the trooper and what is the tow rating for these iv pulled some pretty hevy loads with this thing i pull a car trailer with full sized chevy pickup on it yesterday any help would be great

hey man i know that my 2001 trooper has a rating of 5000 pounds.. not like it helps but hey atleast its a reply.. i cant get anyone to reply to me lol

I looked around online and it says 5000 for a 95 as well.. so. lol.
