what''s goin on everyone, i''m looking at and have put a deposit on an 89
trooper. it has an idle problem and will just barley stay running , idling at
very low rpm. I know nothing about the vehicle yet, so if someone could
give me a little direction as what to look for to find this problem, and
what the usual causes are. I was thinking about the plugs, wires, cap and
rotor for starters. also maybe there''s a vacuum leak some where. could
also be bad gas, as it''s been sitting for several months. there''s
300,000km on it. also what are some things i should look out for when
buying it. it was driven by and older couple that just used it to go back
and forth from ontario to florida.
