Head gaskets
Hi
I have a year 2000 Isuzu Trooper Citation 3l TD which I purchased in March to tow a horse box with. After a couple of trips out whilst towing noticed that when I came to hills etc the temperature gauge was starting to rise into the red area on the temperature gauge. Took it into the garage as was obvious the fan was kicking in (its a manual one not electric) but was confirmed that the head gaskett had gone. Just wondered if this is a common fault with this model, its expensive to get fixed so want to make sure that once fixed all should be ok or whether this model is prone to blowing head gasketts. Any info appreciated.
