1988 trooper 2.6 when i start it it runs for a sec then it burns the fuse for the fuel pump. pulled the pump out and it will run out of the tank and wont burn the fuse. there is power to the hot going to the pump for about 3 seconds. then kicks off when the pump is out of the tank. with the pump in the tank it will burn the fuse. help me.
