fuel pump starts, then stops
i have an 1988 trooper...when i start it it will run for a minute, then die, or not start at all.....i can heat the fuel pump running, but it stops after 10 seconds or so....ive replaced the fuel pump, alternator, checked fuses.....problem is still there...im getting tired of throwing parts at this thing...any thoughts from the peanut gallery?

Replaced the filter or checked the regulator? Or fuel pump relay.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
In order to control the Fuel Pump (FP) operation, the Fuel Pump (FP) relay is provided. When the starter switch is turned to "ON" position, the FP relay operates the FP for 2 seconds. When it is turned to "START" position, the Power Train Control Module (PCM) receives the reference pulse from the Ignition Control Module and it operates the relay, again causing the FP to feed fuel.
