Still experiencing an occasional flashing CEL upon startup. Engine acts like it want to die, runs rough and misses with a strong smell of fueluntil it finally smooths out. CEL flashes as long as you give it gas. Shut the engine off and restart, flashing CEL gone. My mechanic has checked out everything, MAF, plugs and everything associated with the ignition side.Before he went through it ISUZU made a fortune trying to "fix" the problem. No pending or active codes. Last thought is it is just in the computer and short of replacing the computer I should just live with it. It does not act up all the time but never acted weird until after ISUZU replaced the automatic transmission under warranty at 118,000 miles. Trooper has 137K on it now and is well maintained. Any thoughts, comments, and recommendations appreciated.
