OK-I have a 2002 Trooper 2X4 that was throwing an ABS code 43. I read that the ECHU was probably bad, so I replaced the ECHU with one from a 4X4 Trooper (yes, I now know that the ECHU are different between a 2X4 and a 4X4). Now the only code is 24 - Transfer monitor.

Is there a way to get the computer to see this 4X4 component? Like grounding a wire/pin? All the Troopers in the yards are 4X4 (10 out of 10, and no more yards to check out locally -Denver, CO).

Just replaced the EHCU with a 2X4. Not as easy to find as one for a 4X4. Paid a premium, but fixed the ABS light.
