did you change out the throw out bearing as well??? and did you make sure the fork was working correctly before you put everything back together?? and are you sure its not on a Clutch Cable? if its Hydraulic, then make sure you got all the air out of the line, by bleeding the system.

yea, but if its a hydraulic system and it has air in the lines, then you need to bleed the system and get the air out. As for the Throw out bearing, it sits in the pressure plate. good luck.

sounds like you have a throw out bearing hanging up or in backwards. the hydraulics dis-engage the clutch. maybe the clutch plate is in backwards? or with luck the adjustment on the linkage is out of whack.

The linkage could be out of adjustment, thanks Bill, i forgot about that. I got a Cable adjusted clutch on my 84 4speed man. and i haven't even had to adjust it yet. good point out there bro.

your adjustment will be down at the slave cylinder. the rod that goes to the throw out bearings arm that sticks out of the bell housing.

when pushing down on the clutch pedal you should have 2 or 3 inches of travel before you get any resistance. if you have no free travel that would be your problem.

there are a few utube videos on how to adjust a hydraulic clutch.

when replacing these components you shouldn't need to adjust anything unless the adjustment was changed during the repair. is the throw out bearing fork not engaged on the pivot ball?
