Hi guys,anybody advise me please,1997,3.1trooper,just took car to have a/c looked at again,guy re-charged system but fault still remains,air blowng slightly cold now,notice that blue light on switch on dash illuminates for approx 2sec or not at all,could this be a fault leading to a/c not working properly?is it a safety cut out

dont rely on the little blue light,its just an indicator that the switch is in the on position.listen for the compressor to engage,or if it starts cooling.troopers dont get but so cold,35-40 depending what climate you live in.if you find your self constantly recharging theres a leak.

thanks guru for reply,i live in uk,don't get to us air con much,but would be nice to have when req.compressor is enaging,air not very cold,have had better in the past.thanks again for advice,much appreciated
