It's pretty straight forward. It's been a few years since I did mine, but I dont recall any unusual problems. They'er due again, so I'll be doing it in a few weeks too.

Thanks fourwrd1 - i'm normally a manual follower for vehicle repairs - ever since i tried to compress the pistons for the new pads on my wifes integra and found out - only after buying the manual and after her car was apart - that the pistons compress by turning them using a screwdriver......I cant find a chilton or haynes for the 2000 trooper - and heard some talk about the front brakes being a mess with wheel bearings due to the TOD system....sound right?

It's been several years since I did them, and they're about due now. The only thing I remember that stands out is I pulled the rotors off of the hubs to have them turned, and the machine shop guy told me it was one of the few that needed to have them mounted on the hubs in order to be turned. I had to put them back on the hubs and go back. Other than that it was pretty straight forward.
