'98 Trooper, Needs Transmission work, Help!
I have a '98 Trooper S, 4-wheel Drive, 4-speed automatic, 215-HP 3.5L V6 with 175,711 miles. I bought it brand new off the showroom floor over 17 years ago. It has been problem free until the transmission started slipping, now to the point it is unable to drive. My neighbor thinks it needs a new clutch but I really don't know. What would be my best options? - sell it? fix it? I was told it would be at least $2000. I have it on Craig's List for sale at $500 but with no interest so far.
