96 trooper fuel pump problem
i have a 96 trooper that was running fine when i parked it 2 months ago. now it will turn over fine but is getting no fuel.but with the switch in the on position i am getting no voltage to the 15 amp fuse marked as fuel pump. seems odd that fuel pump would go out while in storage. anybody got any ideas? i hate replace the pump if thats not the problem.

if its getting power back to the pump and the pump isn't running when you cycle the key, then its the pump. but if you are not getting power at the pump, then you got either a bad fuse or some little woodland creature has used your wires as food.
I would start under the hood and trace the wires back to the pump and make sure you don't have any breaks anywhere. Also, check the fuel line before the filter coming from the tank. if you are getting fuel, then you might just have a bad Fuel Filter(they are like $8 at O'Reilly's for a WIX).
Hope this helps.
