i have 96 trooper that i drove a week ago at the hunting camp with no transmision problems. crank it up sunday and ropped it in drive and it is slippind terribly. put it in 3rd and it does fine. drove it 5 miles to the store to gas it up with no problem, in 3rd gear. it seems strange for it to sit a week and start this. i have the chilton book on it but can find no where to check the fluid. any help would be appreciated.
