trying to check for codes. MIL (Check engine light) light is intermittent. first things first. I am confused at the correct location of the connection for reading codes. I have taken some pics of the possible connectors and would like to get a verification on which is what?

the "Black and White" connectors I have located have 2 connections on each?
that doesn't seem to relate too what I had read for starting the code read.
