88 trooper problem
i have an 88 trooper. it wont run. i have tested spark, compression, and fuel and all are great. the only thing i can think of is the injectors are not spraying at the right time. does anyone know what tells the injectors when to spray? thanks so much

It can depend on what engine you have. If you've got the 4cyl, I'm pretty sure the engine is not fuel injected, although I might be wrong. I had an 87 at one time and it did not have a TBI.
If it is, there's an ECM that would tell the injectors what to do. Getting any codes of of that might help you figure out what's happening
If it isn't, then I'd start looking for big vacuum leaks, timing property set, etc.
