4 WHEEL DRIVE
I take the Trooper to the beach at the north end of Carolina Beach. If I travel only about 200 yards, park, fish, swim, grill and then leave at the end of the day, no problem. If I work the transfer case any harder, (over 1/2 mile or more),the 4-wheel feature "pops" out. That puts me at the mercy of fellow 4-wheelers for a tow. Could it be over heating because of the extra distance and will an external fluid cooler installation remedy this.
Help!!!

I have the same exact problem - the dealer looked at it and changed the valves that control the 4wd in the dash, but I don''t think that fixed it. So I hope someone responds with a little wisdom on this issue. Thanks
