Hi everyone,

I'm new here, I found a trooper for cheap and I need a car. Its a 2001 limited 4x4, it needs a new transmission due the 2nd and 3rd gear slipping. I found a 1999 Trooper transmission in great shape from one a guy is parting. Has about 120k miles on it, the guy said it ran fine before, just got in accident and it had to much front damage.

My two questions are:

Will this 1999 transmission work as a replacement for the 2001 transmission?

If so, how much would the 1999 transmission be worth?
