First the car isn't driven often so this might cause some of the problems but lately the low fuel light, the battery light, and the brake light have come on with the check trans light flashing. They would turn on and off randomly over the course of a few weeks. Today they came on so I reset the computer to see if that solved any of the problems. It turned off the lights but the transmission would be stuck in like 4th gear. Restarted the car and everything was fine. I went to the store for an hour or so drove it home and when we got home we noticed some smoke but no fire. We turned off the car and checked but couldnt see any source for the smoke. We tried to start the car now and it won't catch. It will turn over like its going to start but it will stop. I am not the driver or owner so its hard to see if there were any previous warning signs. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
