hello everyone and thanks in advance.

it rained really hard today. i was running my errands and went to the store to get some food. when i came back out to the car, my car (sounded like engine) started to make a screeching sound. i was about 2 minutes from home so i thought nothing of it.

about an hour later, i went to check the car. the screeching was still there. i dont know what to do. i figured i would let things "dry " until the morning. anything I should do? am i being paranoid? i get easily paranoid with cars.

 

does it screech only when its moving or only when parked, only starting, etc...? Listen close next time it does, i bet its your pulley belts, could be too tight and when wet, the water makes them screech.
