Hello all, this is my first post, thank you in advance for the help!

I have a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo that began having transmission problems, it would slip off the line pretty bad and slip from 1st to 2nd gear. In order to repair I had my mechanic take the trans out of a 1998 Rodeo (ran and drove great, body was just beat to hell), he said everything was the exact same on both transmissions except 1 connector that was different. My mechanic pulled the trans from the 98 and put it in the 2000, now it is having shifting problems... its like it doesn't want to shift to different gears unless you manually shift it on the column.

I was hoping someone on here could share some knowledge! Thanks a lot guys.
