I have a 2001 rodeo with a failing transmission; I also have a 1999 Amigo with a perfectly good transmission. I have researched a bit online and it appears that these vehicles use the same transmission, however, I am not sure if there are dimensional differences that might prevent me from performing the transmission swap. My question is, is it possible to perform this swap without expensive modifications? I am willing to swap bell housings or drive shafts if needed.
