Default Tire Sizes for my 2000 Rodeo

Hey all!

New to the Forums, and a new Isuzu owner! I just bought a 2000 Rodeo that is in immaculate condition. I lucked out big time as it has been very well maintained over the last 15 years by an elderly couple, who used it to visit family a few hours away. Aside from the 200k on the engine, it is like new, so I hope to be driving it for some time.

The question I have for you other Rodeo owners is about the tire sizes. It currently has some standard all season road tires on it, which are in okay shape, but I would like to replace them come fall.

I am curious what the maximum size tire I can put on is before it effects steering/requires a lift. I would like to get something beefier for the backroads as I will be doing a lot of exploring with it and will likely be driving on logging roads in the winter. Either an all-terrain or M/S tire would be great.

I do intend to get a 3" lift in the future, but for now I would just like to upgrade to larger tires without effecting the driveability too noticeably.

Thanks in advance, guys!

Rob
