Default Tail Of Two Rodeos

I need advice on how to price these two to sell. It was a before the divorce project. 97 auto w/ grey lether int. runs and drives great. It needed the front end (hood, both side panels and grill) replaced. I got the 94. 94 has a perfect front end is 4x4, but does not run. (someone elses project) I have been now told both ways that the front ends will match and they will not. I would go through with trying to repair the 97 if I could find out for sure the body panels are a match. How do I do this. Ex was the body man and I got the bad end of this deal. Thanks for anything anyone can help with.

Get a piece of paper and notebook and tape measure. Go around and measure different things and look to see if bolt patterns are the same. Look at all the connections from the front clip to the body and measure a few of them from one to the other to see if the are the same. Measure to see if the radiator and its supports and stuff is the same or different. If the are different then it will have to be changed too. So look at how this mounts and that hoses and such hook up the same. Does the headlight look the same on both rigs? If not there might be wiring problems. Unplug the harness from the cab (battery undone) and see if the plug connection is the same. Do enough looking so that you know it will work or not. On most cars easier to change as a whole piece than in several pieces. Some rigs like a toyata i did there is differences between a 2by and 4by so just look and see. Not a hard job if you get like a sack of bags and masking tape and label connections and bags as to what they were for. A lot of pics on a digital camera works too. It will take a bit of time but you will get a big sense of accomplishment when done.
