Default Rodeo engine knocking!

Here's a link to the YouTube video of the noise my Isuzu Rodeo is making. I haven't driven it very much because of it.

Oil level is fine. Changed regularly.

Does anyone one know what this could be? I've been told an internal engine noise, flex-plate issue or short block. Any help is appreciated. It happens at idle, neutral and while driving. The transmission shifts well.

Please help!

Time to be looking for a new engine. That is definitely a big end bearing noise.

Is it as loud in person as on the video? and does the noise change speed with engine RPM's? My 95 Rodeo makes a similar noise, though not NEARLY as loud as your video makes the noise seem and we've narrowed it down to a sticking lifter. I put Lucas Oil Stabilizer in mine and that helps a bit. It comes and goes, and is much worse in cold weather, but never caused any problems in the 4 years I've been driving my Rodeo.

It won't hurt to try some oil stabilizer!
