I bought an '02 Rodeo and it came with one key. Did these vehicles come with a remote? If so, where can I get one?

at least the LS and LSE have keyless entry, don't know about other models. I got one offa ebay once (you know, from scrap vehicles) when my old one broke. Found the programming sequence somewhere online (something like turn ign on&off, open&close door a few times etc), works ever since...

 

you can search edmonds..i just bought an 02 v6 and found that all v6 had it...but i also only got 1 key and the owner never had the fob...so i bought one off ebay last week and am waiting on its arrival..lets hope!!

 

I might go junk yarding to see what I can find. The ones on eBay are running around $44. If you find a link to programming the fob, can you send it my way please?

so after getting my fob in the mail...and exhuasting myself trying to program it, i took off the glovebox...i dont have the horizontal black boax..or pig tail...only the vertical white one labeled with tn-232300-8640 and 8-97313022-0. and i have no little indicator light over by the mirror switch(which i dont have either. This is a 2002 v6 4x4 5sp. im at a loss...did this not have factory keyless...i know i dont have an alarm...but i thought i at least had keyless entry????? please help anyone!!

 

also ..if it turns out i dont and i am out of luck..you can buy my fob from me..just got it off ebay for 35 ...so if noone here can help ....i can hok you up for a good deal.
