Default REcently bought a RODEO AND I NEED SOME HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can anyone help me i got a problom with 2002 rodeo i bought it is a 3.2 v6 automatic. i bought it with tranny leak one of the lines were leaking now i fixed that and i added fluid to the tranny while it was in neutral with truck idling. it took roughly 8 litres.

although the truck will only move in L gear and reverse. D 3 2 will not work. as soon as you put it in drive D the tranny goes right in to neutral. the truck goes into L and Reverse no problem it just wont shift up.

everytime i start it the check tranny light comes on and a/t temp also comes on ... even though the engine is cold i don't understand that at all? im also pulling up a po753 code. you think maybe tranny needs to be chages or is it something stupid? i like the truck is just this really ticks me off is that i can't even drive it out of my drive way. any help would be appreciated. would changing the filter help?

I will need more info for diagnosis. When you put the gear in D, does the light on the dash show and stay in D or it moves around? Disconnect the negative on the battery for a while and reconnect to reset and try it. Check the transmission range switch on the driver side of the trans casing. It might need adjusting or the contacts need cleaning.
