Proud owner of a new (to me) '94
Hey all,
I just love making my first post on any new forums...jeep, ford, chevy, kawasaki, ktm... (you get the picture).
I have been looking for a replacement for my '94 ranger 3.0 5-speed with 240k on it...was looking for a blazer or exploder or something along those lines as i live in the motor city....but i need something reliable and relatively inexpensive. Most everything not rusted out was $4-5k and had 150k miles or more on it.
well, a 94 rodeo caught my eye on craigslist today...3.2, leather, loaded (factory 16" wheels/tires???holy cow)..emailed the owner and set up a time to look at it...(1.5 hrs south of my house)
Great guy, great truck, and i think a great price...
This has 102k miles on it, 3.2L 5 speed, 4wd, 4w disc brakes, leather, pwr everything...it's smooth and man does it run! Just a 5 minute ride and i knew i had to have it...
I don't know the going rate (i'd seen some 94-95 with over 200k miles on them for $1800 and up...
I got this one for $2250...i hope i did ok, i think so...not a spec of rust, minimal cosmetic stuff (window tint needs to come off), ac needs charged (the owner said it takes a charge every spring and lasts till fall...we'll see). Cruise control doesn't work but for the $$ i think i can get 250k miles out of it...should last me 7 or 8 yrs as i will oil it...
I ran it 90 miles at 75-80 mph, checked the mileage and was getting just over 23 mpg (better than my old ranger) and did i mention it is smoooooooooth
Sry for the long post, i'm giddy like a school girl (just like when i bough my jeep) and i think i will like this vehicle for many years to come
Let me know what you think...
the way this thing runs

Very nice truck, i purchased a 98 with 200,000 miles and only got it because of the test drive. powerful, smooth engine and ride leather 5 speed manual power everything. I paid $1,500 for it but i still love my truck. So fun to drive. I put 12,000
miles on it in 8 months, and i still love this truck.

My ride
