The drivers side power door lock is broken on my 1996 Isuzu Rodeo. I cannot get in or out of this door.

Is there any way that the power door lock can be disengaged so that I can open and close the door?

I'm not sure how disengaging the power lock would help, but the best way to do it is remove the door panel and manually unplug the door lock acuator in the door. Easiest way would be to determine what color the wire is, and then clip and cap it in the drivers kick panel area.
