hello. this is my first time here.

I just purchased a 95 4WD Isuzu rodeo from an individual. It is very clean and almost brand new. my issue. is it doesnt have internal power locks. BUT when I unlock the drivers door. all doors unlock.

BUT when I go to leave. i lock all the doors. but when I close the door they unlock?

the only way I can lock the doors, are to lock them from the inside with the doors closed the lock the drivers door with the key.

This doesnt sound right. was I suppose to have a keyless remote or something?

thanks

My Rodeo's left rear door seems to be locked all the time. I'm gonna go take the door off pretty soon and see what the heck's up. Anything in particular to look for?

Ok Seems there is a short in the drivers door wiring. I can open the drivers door and at about 5 inches from closed. the drivers door locks and unlocks all doors. If I open it anymore or less it wont work. I took the door panel off and looked At the wiring I couldnt find anything. I will have to open the dash to see the door hinge wiring
