I bought a 97 4wd V6 Rodeo/Passport with 135k and I'm in the process of changing the oil pump.
I'm stuck trying to remove the timing belt sprocket off of the camshaft.
The repair manual and several YouTube videos tell me it should slide right off, and if it is stubborn use PBblaster and a couple of flat head screwdrivers to help pry it off.

I haven't had any success. Anyone been down this road before? Any advice?

 

I also attempted to replace the oil pump myself but I ended up having a hard time that's why I just brought my ride to the car shop and had it done by a mechanic.
