Oil pan hitting tie rod
Hi everyone
I am new here. Bought a 1991 Rodeo with 2.6 4ze1 with blown head gasket from my friend.
replaced the gasket and now the car is running ok.
I just found the oil pan is touching the tie rod. It seems the engine in is sitting slightly backwards.
There is a dent on the pan so that the pan won’t hit the tie rod if the engine is sitting more forwards.
when I loosened the oil filter, the filter edge also hit the rod just before the filter came off.
please advise what could be the issue. Those two engine mounts are new as well as the transmission mount.
thank you for your advice in advance.
