I recently purchased a used 2001 Rodeo V-6 4X4, it drove fine over the last couple of months, but then it set a P1340 code (CMP) sensor. From the Haynes Manual; the sensor seems to located under the intake manifold, is this correct? Anyone who has further info, I'd appreciate it. Before I do this, I'd like to check circuit voltages and continuity, prior to dismantling the upper half of the engine. Thanks for any help.
