New Member Requesting Assistance
I own a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo with the 3.2 L V6 and automatic transmission. It is a four wheel drive version with 116K miles and is in excellent however, as of late, I have had problems related to the transmission.
Occasionally, when I stop for a traffic light, etc. the transmission warning light will begin blinking and, upon acceleration, I find that the vehicle is in something other than low gear. I can move the shift lever to low and, upon acceleration,
move the shift lever back to drive and it shifts properly however, the warning light continues to blink. This routine is required at each subsequent stop however, if I turn the ignition switch off while stopped and restart the engine, the warning light will be off and the transmission shifts properly.
Took the vehicle to a reputable shop however, there was no stored code to assist in determining the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. Jerry

You are LOW on Trans. fluid!!! There is NO dip stick you have to check if from under the vehicle at the trans there are 2 plugs on the pass. side above the pan. Upper is where you put fluid and when it comes out the lower one it is full. This must be done on a lift.
Hope this helps.
