I just bought a 02 rodeo. It has a 4cyl/auto 2wd 4-door with 56k miles. Overall in real good shape. Is there anything I should look out for on these rodeos as far as notorious problems? Are these pretty good trucks? I dont know ANYTHING about the rodeos. I have never owned an Isuzu before... Thanks for any help/guidance you have.

 

YES, dont kid yourself like I did. Drive it generously and you''ll be ok but I have an 03 at 78K and I just put in my second transmission, just dont race or make your self think its any kind of race car. It burns oil like no other so keep an eye on that and dont let it burn out. And the brake disks are alittle sketchy to me. Yours is pretty high miled so check your brake pads and make sure their ok. Other than that just dont step down on it. Mine is a one of a kind with alot of added horsepower but it was a big mistake. Be carefull. Try and get rid of it befor you hit the 100K mark.
