I have 1994 Rodeo Isuzu 3.2L 2WD. Recently last Thursday I was in a neighborhood I didn't trust and thus I took out my prolock anti theft chip (It is under the steering wheel and it's a chip that connects 6 wires together to start the suv). Unfortunately later that night I lost the chip and therefore couldn't start my suv. I even went to the extreme of cutting the wires the chip connected and wired them together. Obviously this didn't work but I wanted to give it a try. Regardless after all else failed I managed to get my spare chip and got my Rodeo towed back home. As I soldered the wires back together and put the chip back in the suv still fails to start. I've checked the wiring to see if there was a short and I re-charged my battery. I even disconnected the battery to see if this was the problem. As of now I have no idea what is wrong and if anyone knows about this security system for the Rodeo or knows where I can consult to get this issue resolved it would be most helpful.
