Im having AC issues so someone who knows ACs please chime in on this. I got a 97 isuzo rodeo woth 245k miles .. still kicking but just a hassle for the maintainence[img]smileys/smiley5.gif[/img]





Around lastNOV my airstarted to blow a bit cooler then usual and then in the day time it will still blowcool but my air would blow like something is cloggged up. I checked a box thatis under the passenger side dash and that box would be all frozen!! is that the evporator core??? anyways i took it to a shop they said it just needed freon. it still did the same thing[img]smileys/smiley6.gif[/img].





A few weeks later my air would just blow hot and it was winter so i was like whatever ill wait a few more months. When it started to get hot i tried to get some freon to put in it on my car. I hooked everything up and turned the rodeo on and it wasnt sucking in the freon. So my friend checked it out and he said there wasnt no belt. So i got a belt put it on and it will wasnt sucking in the freon. On top of that it wasnt turning the compressor.





Im going out on the limp here and guess my compressor is SHOT! what do you guys think the other problem is ?the freezing box under the dash. They told me it was my evaporator core.


please i need this fixed its hot as helll in houston. Icalled a salvage yard and they told me i can pick up the parts for $105
