My 1995 Rodeo Just died! :( HELP!
</>Iwas driving on the freeway and i was in 5th gear and all of a sudden my truck just dies, all my lights came on like the battery, check engine, oil, and all those flashed and then my truck shut off and i coasted to the side of the road. I have no idea whats wrong with it i went through some, well quite a bit of water that day, could that be the problem i already checked the gas pump and line and filter and it worked fine i also looked at my air filter and intake and that also looked fine IM JUST NOT GETTING A SPARK! can anyone help? Thanks in Advance!Edited by: RodeoRaymon
Sounds like a broken timing belt. Has it ever been replaced? If it turns out to be the belt, get the tensioner and water pump replaced at the same time. Same amount of work to get to them and they will fail shortly after spending all that money to do the belt if you dont do them.
You should be able to remove the upper timing belt covers fairly easy to check if its broken. Replacing it gets much more involved.

If the cams are moving then the t-belt should be ok. Thats the way my civic acted when the t-belt broke. Not sure what electrically would cause that to happen all of a sudden. < src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-44";

I guess that could do it. I've never had a problem with one so didnt think of it. Could just be water in the connector for it, or the sensor. Looks fairly easy to get to from the drawings. If you go to www.myisuzuparts.com and do a keyword search for "crank sensor" then click on the camera icon in the list you can see an exploded diagram with its location.< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-44";

Only things I can think of are water in a wiring connector somewhere, burned wiring (known problem on one model year but not sure which, dunno what part of the wiring harness), or ECU had gone bad (not common). Electrical problems are the worst, i hate them.< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-44";
